Media and social conditioning, over the last couple of decades, have encouraged people to seek out friends who're nothing short of family - But in the process, one has, somehow, forgotten to look for meaningful connections within your family. In a day and age where privacy and space have taken precedence over bonding and sharing with your family members, Zee TV's next primetime fiction show Tum Hi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi, which premieres on 11th May at 7 PM calls out to its viewers to pause, look at the Pethawalas and soak in the warmth of living together as one closely-knit unit. So endearing are the members of this family, that people often wonder if it is the bonds that they share amongst themselves that are sweeter than the Pethas they sell as a part of their family business. They're always up for a good laugh, some masti and above all, they're there for each other through thick and thin. Whoever said that you can't be friends with your family has clearly not met the Pethawalas - a family from the city of Agra that has multiple generations staying together under one roof, with each member playing a very unique role that only he or she can! It isn't your average larger-than-life, filmy joint family where the characters are either holier-than-thou or darker-than-evil, but real, relatable people from our everyday lives.
